This privacy policy governs your use of the software application FStandings ("Application") for mobile devices and iphonef1.net or fstanding.com ("Site").
The App is an easy way to keep track of Formula 1 information and news.
This privacy policy describes what information we collect when you use the Application, how we use that information, and what choices we offer you to access, update, and control it.
This version of the policy is effective as of June 4, 2026.
User-Provided Information
If you correspond with us by email or through the Application support system, we may retain the content of your messages, your email address and our responses.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, a generated unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and information about the way you use the Application. The Site servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application will use information about the location of your mobile device when using Automatic Theme Changing. The information is never sent to any servers or shared with any third parties. It is used internally for determination of sunrise and sunset. Location information will stop when Automatic Theme Changing is disabled
AI Features and Third-Party Processing
The Application includes AI-powered features, such as the in-app chat assistant. When you use these features, the questions and text you submit are sent to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate a response. We do not send your name, email address, or device identifiers with these requests, and we ask that you do not include sensitive personal information in AI chat messages. These providers process the submitted text under their own privacy and data-handling policies.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
-
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
-
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
-
if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us and we will respond in a reasonable time.

If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
